From heritage shophouses to Bayan Lepas.

Penang customers are a mix of locals, visitors planning a trip and companies looking for suppliers. Each of them searches Google first, often in English, sometimes in Chinese or BM.

Across the island and Seberang Perai

A café in a George Town shophouse, a guesthouse near Lebuh Chulia, a bakery in Pulau Tikus, a workshop in Bukit Mertajam or an engineering supplier near the Bayan Lepas industrial zone: it all works the same way. You send details and photos over WhatsApp; we send a mockup, then the finished site to check on your phone.

Why businesses in Penang need a website

Visitors decide where to eat, stay and book a tour before they arrive, usually on their phone. An Instagram post is easy to miss; a website with your hours, location, RM prices and a WhatsApp button turns up on Google and answers their questions while they plan.

On the mainland and around Bayan Lepas, many businesses sell to other businesses. Buyers want to see what you make, what you can do and how to request a quote before they call, and a simple Business site with an enquiry form does exactly that. The same goes for tuition centres, salons, home bakers, caterers and workshops that rely on word of mouth today.

How it works from Penang

We’re in Batam, Indonesia, and work with Penang businesses entirely online, over WhatsApp, email and video call. There’s no office in Penang and no need to meet; you pay by bank transfer and are invoiced in MYR.

Batam is one hour behind Penang (UTC+7 vs UTC+8): when it’s 10am in George Town, it’s 9am here. Want your site in English and Chinese, or with BM too? Tell us at the start and it goes into the quote before you pay anything.

What a Malaysian business site must show

Malaysian businesses, from Sdn Bhd companies to sole proprietors, must show their registered business name and SSM registration number on their website and social media. If you sell online, Malaysia’s e-commerce rules also require details such as your contact details, business address, full price including delivery, payment methods and delivery time.

We add these to your site from the details you give us. This is general information, not legal advice; check with your adviser if your case is unusual.

See the quality first.

Three sample designs for fictional Malaysian businesses in Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur, with prices in RM. The kopitiam switches between English, Bahasa Melayu and 中文; the other two are in English with BM touches. Yours can be in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese or all three. Open them on your phone.

Fixed prices, in ringgit.

One payment covers the build and the first year of domain, hosting and SSL. From year two you only pay the renewal printed on each plan.

Our guarantees, from our terms

  • Free mockup, no obligation. We design your homepage first, at no cost. You only pay a deposit if you like it.
  • Full refund before work starts. Cancel after paying the deposit but before we start designing, and you get 100% of the deposit back.
  • Cancel later, owe nothing more. If you cancel once work has started, the deposit and any payments already made cover the work done, and you don’t pay anything further. A domain already registered stays yours.
  • Late because of us? Full refund. If your site is more than 14 working days past the plan’s timeline through our fault (not because content or approvals were pending), you can cancel and get back 100% of what you paid.
  • 30 days of free bug fixes. After launch, we fix technical bugs in our work for free for 30 days.
  • Your domain, no auto-renewal. The domain is registered in your business’s name. Renewals are invoiced at least 30 days ahead and never charged to your card automatically; if you stop, we help move your domain and site files to you.

Questions from Penang.

How much does a website cost in Penang?

The same as anywhere else in Malaysia: RM990 (landing page), RM1,990 (Business, up to 5 pages) or RM2,990 (Catalog + WhatsApp), including the first year of .com domain, hosting and SSL. Renewals from year two are RM350, RM450 and RM600 a year. Portfolio pricing until 31 October: RM690, RM1,390 or RM2,090, if we may show your site in our portfolio and you give us a short testimonial when it’s done.

Can my Penang website be in English and Chinese?

Yes. Sites are in English by default; if you need Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia or a bilingual site, tell us at the start and we include it in the quote before you pay anything. Our kopitiam sample shows a site that switches between English, BM and Chinese.

I’m on the mainland, in Butterworth or Bukit Mertajam. Do you cover that?

Yes. Because everything is remote, Seberang Perai is covered exactly like the island, from Butterworth and Perai to Bukit Mertajam, Batu Kawan and Nibong Tebal. Your website and Google Business Profile show your real location, so customers on your side of the bridge can find you.

Do you meet in person in Penang?

No. We’re a studio in Batam, Indonesia, and everything runs over WhatsApp, email and video call. We’re one hour behind Malaysia time (UTC+7).

We supply manufacturers around Bayan Lepas. Which plan fits?

Usually the Business plan (RM1,990): up to 5 pages such as home, services, about, gallery and contact, with an enquiry form, a business email and basic SEO. Extra pages are RM200 each. If you would rather show a product range with order buttons, the Catalog + WhatsApp plan (RM2,990) adds a catalog with category filters.

Can you guarantee a top Google ranking in Penang?

No one can guarantee rankings; Google decides. What we do: a fast site, page titles and text that match what people search for in Penang, a sitemap and Google Search Console on launch day, and help with your Google Business Profile on the Business plan.

Do I need to show my SSM number on the site?

Yes. Malaysian businesses must show their registered name and SSM number on their website and social media, and online sellers also need details such as contact information, full prices including delivery, payment methods and delivery times. We add these from the details you give us.

How do I pay?

A free homepage mockup first, with no obligation. If you like it, you pay in three parts by bank transfer: a deposit before we start, a second payment when you approve the preview, and the final payment before go-live. Malaysian businesses are invoiced in MYR.

See your new website first.

Send your business name, your city and what you do. We reply with a free homepage mockup and the exact cost for year one and year two.
